The much anticipated conversion of Israeli ETNs - Teudot Sal to ETFs is scheduled to begin this week. As we have discussed in the past, this conversion may have adverse tax consequences for US tax payers, so we recommend that investors consult with their US CPAs to determine their best course of action.
Some dates to keep in mind:
October 3, 2018 - last day to trade Israeli Government Bond Teudot - other ILS bond Teudot convert over the course of October.
October 31, 2018 - last day to trade Israeli Equity Teudot - other equity, bond, and more exotic Teudot convert through December 19, 2018.
